I'm not sure how you could have been at the rally and not counted 500+ supporters. It may not have been 500 strong for the entire 4 or 5 hours, but certainly during the time I was there, it was fairly steady. While I'm certain that bullying still can and does take place at PCVS, I know from experience and from many other students' own testimony that they've found PC a safe haven from the bullying they've received at other schools. PCVS is important beyond it's programs and students; any urban planner will tell you that downtown schools are essential for vibrant, healthy communities. In fact, the Ministry of Education currently recommend keeping downtown schools open whenever possible, because they recognize the value both to students and the community, as well as the financial savings when many students live within walking distance of their school. Why the Trustees chose to ignore this directive from the Ministry is a mystery to me. I haven't seen anyone fabricating any incidents, and I'm not making up the comments I've read; truly, I don't think PCVS supporters need to - there's plenty of strong evidence in favour of keeping PCVS. When you've got a strong case, you don't need to fabricate. And there's no doubt that PC students are feeling fear over how they'll be received at TASSS, so whether or not you believe that some of this is fabricated, the fear is real. Hey Carl,
